Water Clear Polyurethanes Print E-mail

Innovative Polymers has a broad range of polyurethanes for molding water clear prototypes and initial parts as well as for low volume production. The products are formulated for automated meter/mix dispensing, hand-casting and vacuum assisted casting. Automotive parts as well as dental and medical models are typical applications for the water clear materials.

Among Innovative Polymers clear casting systems are:

  • Shore A Elastomers with high elongation and tear strength
  • Advanced Shore D Polyurethanes that combine clarity with high flexural modulus and excellent tensile strength
  • A Rapid Cast, Fast Cure Polyurethane for water clear parts that can be demolded in 10 to 30 minutes and features a high flexural modulus and high heat resistance
  • Vacuum Assisted Casting Polyurethanes that produce void-free, clear parts with excellent elevated temperature performance and a high flexural modulus.
