| RapidCast is a group of material specifically designed to be dispensed via meter-mix equipment. Generally speaking, these materials are too fast to cast by hand or vacuum-assist methods. Quick mold cycle time very fast with these materials. usually between 5-30 minutes. RapidVAC materials have been engineered for use with vacuum-assisted casting equipment. In some cases, these materials can be cast by hand as well. Most can be de-molded within 1-2 hours of casting. Elevated processing temperature may be recommended. IE Series polyurethane was developed for large batches and hand casting. Gel times are anywhere from 12 minutes to 180 minutes. This allows for plenty of time to de-air the material and get it into the mold.
