InnoTuf Abrasion-Resistant Polyurethanes |
High-performance, InnoTuf Polyurethanes are Shore A hardness materials with excellent abrasion resistance. The products were developed to meet customer needs for durable parts that can withstand exposure to gouging, cutting and abrasion as well as chemical and solvent exposure.
The InnoTuf Abrasion-Resistant Polyurethane product family is formulated using three different chemistries:
- HP-1000 Series is based on polyester polyols and exhibits outstanding elongation characteristics as well as high tear strength and resistance to oils and chemicals. HP-1000A series polyurethanes are readily processed at temperatures between 100ºF and 130ºF and cure at 150ºF
- HP-2000 Series is formulated using polyethers that produce systems with high tear strength and elongation and outstanding Taber abrasion resistance. The materials are also UV stable and water resistant.
- HP 2100 Series are polyether/polyurea polyol hybrids with high tear strength and good abrasion resistance. The materials can be processed at room temperature.
Innovative Polymers Abrasion Resistant Polyurethanes are ideal for use in a variety of markets and industries including amusement/ theme park ride components, oil/gas and mining equipment, and parts for the paper, printing and welding industries.
