Flame Retardant Polyurethanes Print E-mail

Innovative Polymers flame retardant systems are ideal for prototyping, initial parts and low-volume production via automated meter/mix dispensing, hand casting or vacuum assisted casting. The easy-to-handle materials are ideal for molding medical devices, equipment housings, automotive components and electronic parts.

Specific flame retardant systems in the Innovative Polymers line include:

  • Four NEW Shore A Hardness Polyurethanes meet UL 94 V-O requirements and feature excellent tear strength and elongation.
  • Three Rapid Cast, Fast Cure Polyurethanes that pass UL 94 V-O ratings; two polyurethanes, RC-79D and RC-542, have yellow cards.
  • Three High Performance Polyurethanes, TP-4014 and TP-4015 and TP-4016, simulate durable thermoplastics, meet UL 94 V-O standards and have good impact strength and heat resistance.
  • Two Vacuum Assisted Casting Polyurethanes that meet UL 94 V-0 standards. VA-259 and VA-260 are ideal for molding void-free prototypes and parts with high flexural modulus and good elevated temperature performance. VA-259 has a yellow card.

NEW Shore A Hardness Polyurethanes. Four flexible systems meet UL 94 V-O criteria and feature excellent tear strength and elongation properties.
