Advanced Shore D Polyurethanes Print E-mail

Polyurethanes in the Innovative Polymers Advanced Shore D product line are generally used for hand casting, however several of the products can be mass cast, rotomolded or vacuum cast.  Innovative Polymers advanced casting systems can be used to produce polypropylene- and ABS-like prototypes and parts for such applications as:

The IE-series, Shore D polyurethanes exhibit low viscosity and attain rapid green strength.  The cured systems have good tensile strength and are formulated with flexural modulus values ranging from 45,000 psi to 420,000 psi.  Many of the products are color matchable.

NEW additions to the Advanced Shore D family are Innovative Polymers IE-3068, IE-3071 and IE-3081 polyurethanes.  The products feature varied gel times and handling properties that overcome drawbacks of other products on the market.  The Shore D systems are ideal for modelmaking, prototyping and casting figurines.
